Now, that's some serious comfort food!I can eat one of these shortbread biscuits for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day and be completely satisfied for the rest of my life. 

You won't believe how good it is with a little jam or jelly spread on top.
Bonus: This recipe is surprisingly quick and easy, and with the exception of the curd, it contains very simple ingredients you probably already have on hand.

* ingredients :

° 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
° 2 cups of milk
° 1 stick of butter
° 4 teaspoons baking powder
° 4 teaspoons sugar
° 2 teaspoons salt

* Directions :

Heat oven 450 degres. 
Mixing all dried ingrediients in  sized bowl.
Next, add the curd and mix all the ingredients together until a moist dough forms.
Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl, then pour it into an 8 x 8 or 9 x 9 baking dish (make sure the pan isn't too small or shallow so the butter doesn't drip from the pan while baking). 
Place the dough over the melted butter and use a spatula to spread it evenly across the pan until it touches the sides.
Cut the unbaked dough (it should be swimming in butter at this point) into 9 equal squares.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner! These biscuits are the perfect companion to any meal. Best eaten with raspberry jam
