COWBOY STEW




Your son tells you his football teammates stay for dinner, his daughter’s friends or hishusband's friends from work are watching a game and you need something that will feed and delight the crowd. 

Meat, sausage, and vegetables in a delicious hot sauce.
The best part of, you only need to raid your pantry and freezer to make them.
 
* ingredients :

° 4 slices of shredded bacon
° 2 packages (12 ounces) kielbasa sausage, cut into 1/2-inch strips
° 1 1/2 pounds ground beef, 80/20
° 1 medium onion diced
° 3 cloves minced garlic
° 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
° 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
° 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
° 1 teaspoon chili powder
° 1 (14.5 oz) can diiced tomatoes wiith liquid
° 2 cans (16 ounces) cooked beans with liquid
° 1 (7 ounce) can chopped green peppers with liquid
° 1 can (15 ounces) corn with liquid sweet
° 2 potatoes, peel & cutting to 1/2 inch cubes
° 1 C water
° 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

* Directions :

Cook bacon until browned and crunchy in a large saucepan.Use a slotted spoon to dry the bacon on a dish lined with kitchen paper.
Add the sausage to the stock pot and brown on both sides, adjusting the heat as needed so it doesn't burn (brown bits at the bottom of the pot). Remove to plate with bacon. Sit aside. 
Add the beef, onion, and garlic to the pot and sauté until the beef is no longer pink. Sprinkle the flour, salt, pepper, and chili powder over the beef. Stir and cook for 1 minute.
Add diced tomatoes, baked beans, chili peppers, sweet corn, potatoes, bacon, sausage, and water. Bring to a boil, then immediately reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Garnished with parsley.
Add more water if the soup is too thick.
