'' Pecan Pie ''

You can't go wrong with pecan cakes. Especially the ones that are full of nuts, have a bit of vibrancy from the orange flavor, and aren't too sweet - just like the ones here.

Taking the time to track down new crops of pecans will push things over the top.

What an easy pecan pie....
Melt 2 sticks of butter with 2 cups of brown sugar then add 3 eggs, a pinch of salt and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.
Mix well.
Adding 1 1/2 c chop pecans.
Pour into pie crust - 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Old Cajun recipe (without Karo syrup)
