Slow-Cooker-Honey-Garlic-Chicken Recipe

Save the white styrofoam pot for the most desperate time - today we're making slow-cooker chicken with honey and garlic. The recipe consists of only eight ingredients (nine if you're sticking with counting rice), and if you cook Asian food regularly (meaning you have soy sauce), you have it all in your pantry right now.   
* ingredients :

° Honey and garlic sauce
° 1/3 cup honey
° 1 tablespoon minced garlic
° 1/2 cup soy sauce, low in sodium (see note)
° 1/4 cup ketchup
° 1 teaspoon dried thyme
° Chicken & vegetable crock-pot
° 2 pounds chicken thighs, bone in, skin on
° 1 pound small red potatoes
° 1 pound peeled carrots
° 1 cup chopped onion
° 1 pound green beans, trimmed
° Fresh parsley, chopped, for serving optional
° Salt and pepper to taste
° cornstarch slurry (optional)
° 2 teaspoons cornstarch
° 3 teaspoons water

* Directions :

In a bowl, whisk jointly honey, garlic, soy sauce, oregano, / ketchup.
Add chicken thighs, potatoes, carrots, and onions to a 4-6 liter saucepan.Pour honey-garlic sauce blending equally.Cover the multi-cooker with a lid and close the lid.Cook for 68 hours on low heat or 33 1/2 hours on high heat (see note).
About 20 minutes before serving, add the green beans to the slow cooker and the optional cornstarch mixture to the sauce.
Reclose the lid and let it cook for another 15-20 minutes until the green beans are tender and the sauce begins to thicken.
Transfer chicken and vegetables to serving plates with a perforated spoon. Optional: Roast chicken thighs for 2-3 minutes, to brown the skin.Cast sauce on the chicken & vegetables.If you want, you can garnish with chopped parsley.
