TOP Taco Casserole

This is a very fast dinner, I like to cook when it's getting late, but I haven't made it yet. Top chili, cornflakes and cheese with lettuce and tomatoes. Spice it up with your favorite salsa sauce. Vegetarian chili can be found with regular chili - it is often described as "lean". This recipe can be easily doubled and cooked in a 9" x 13" baking dish.

* ingredients:

° 1 pound minced meat
° 1 (1.25 ounce) pack taco seasoning
° 2/3 c water
° Fritio chips
° 1 can (10.75 oz) cheddar cheese soup
° Half a cup of milk
° 8 ounces shredded Mexican cheese mix
° tomato cubes
° chopped lettuce

* Directions:

Preheat oven 350 degres f .Fry the minced meat in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add taco seasoning and water and cook until mixture is thick.Mix the cheddar cheese soup with milk in a small saucepan.Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until well combined and warm.Coat the bottom of the 9"x 9" baking pan with some oil.Place a layer of French fries on the bottom of the baking tray.

Put the tacos on top of the fried ones.Top the tacos with cooked cheddar cheese soup.Put another layer of grilled meat on top. Spread over the grated Mexican cheese mixture.

Place in the oven and bake at 350°F for 10-15 minutes or until bubbling.Remove from the oven and sprinkle with lettuce and tomatoes.
