Baked cabbage steaks

One of my favorite side dishes, because it's so easy to prepare! Personally, I love garlic so I go crazy using it, but use it as often as it is good for you. This is a very simple recipe and you can put as much or as little spice as you like.

* Roasted Cabbage Ingredients:

° ½ cabbage or cabbage

° 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

° 2 cloves minced garlic

° Pinch of black pepper

° salt pinch

* How to make baked cabbage:

Preheat oven 180 ° C; This will be the first step in preparing oven-roasted cabbage. Remove all the old cabbage leaves and then cut the vegetables into 1 cm thick slices.

Be careful not to break them, place the cabbage slices on an oven rack lined with parchment paper beforehand.

** Tip: Put the cabbage slices together on the rack so they don't burn so quickly when roasting.

In a bowl, mix all the spices: oil, garlic, pepper and salt. Then we spread the vegetables with this mixture with a spoon or a kitchen brush and then put the cabbage in the oven at 180 ° C for 20 minutes, turning on the fan if possible, or until it is cooked in the middle and becomes crunchy.

If your oven doesn't have a fan function, open the door for a moment after the first 10 minutes of cooking to remove the excess steam and close it again, that way you'll have oven-roasted cabbage, and you win. Tastes like if it had just been cooked.

**Tip: If you have an oil mist, you can use it to season the baked cabbage. It is much faster than brushing it.
