*Big-Apple-Fritters*


I was try to clone apple pies that convenience store chain, QuikTrip, use to have. The ones they have now are not the same.

* Ingredients :

° 3 cups all-purpose flour
° 1½ cups sugar
° 3 teaspoons baking powder
° Half a teaspoon of salt
° teaspoon apple pie spice
° 2 large eggs
° 1 cup milk
° 1 teaspoon vanilla
° 2 tablespoons soft butter
°  1½ cups peeled and sliced ​​apples
° frying oil
° confectioner's sugar

* directions :

Pour oil to a deep skillet or Dutch oven to a depth of for 3 inches. Heatto 375 degrees. Sift flour, sugar, salt, & apple pie spice to  mix bowl. Putting eggs in a  detachalso bowl and beat them sweetly. Adding milk & vanilla. Make  well in center of dry ingredients also cast in milk blend . Addingalso butter and beat with a blender on low speed to soften, for half a min . 

Scrape sides of bowl and increase speed to medium for 2 minutes longer. Fold in the apple. Use a ½ c measuring c, drop it to hot oil. Be careful not to spraying oil on yourself. If  pot is not too at top, you may be able to cooking only one pie at time. When brown o first side, carefully flip it with spoon

Build second side.Drain on paper towels also sprinkle directly, generously, with icing sugar or icing, I prefer icing. To make confectionery glaze, whisk together sugar and milk or water and let it warm.
