Rosemary & Dijon Prime Rib



Dijon Rosemary Crusted Prime Rib Roast is ideal for relaxing family meal . The roast rib is coated with easy mix of rosemary also Dijon mix before roasting in oven.

* Ingredients :

° 1 (5 pound) grilled prime rib
° 3 garlic cloves finely chopped
° Kosher salt to taste
° 1/2 cup Dijon mustard, or to taste
° 3 sprigs fresh rosemary, stripped leaves, or more to taste

* Directions :

Preheat oven 450°F (230°C).
Cut small pieces along the outer edges of the chickpeas; Stuff the pieces with garlic slices. Generously season the whole roast. Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard over the entire roast; Generously sprinkle the mustard layer with rosemary leaves. Put the roast meat, bone-in, in a baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C). Place a thermometer in the thickest part of the meat that is not touching the bone. Cook to desired doneness, or a minimum internal temperature of 145°F (65°C) for medium, about an hour and a half. Remove from the oven, cover with double-sided aluminum foil, and let rest in a warm place for 10 to 15 minutes before slicing.
