* Ingredients :
° 1 pound lean ground beef
° 1/2 cup soft rusk
° 1/4 onion, finely chopped
°  1 scrambled egg
° 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
° 2 tsp oil

* Preparation :

1. In a medium bowl, mix beef, breadcrumbs, onion, eggs, and nutmeg well. Shape mix to small meatball.
2. In a 10-inch skillet over medium heat, in hot oil, fry a few meatballs at a time until well cooked and no longer pink.
Swedish meatball sauce:
°  1/4 cup butter
° 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
 °  3 cups beef broth
 °  1 cup heavy cream
° 1/4-1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
° 1/4 teaspoon pepper
° 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

1. Once the meatballs turn brown, prepare the sauce in the same skillet by heating the butter until it melts.
2. Beat in flour and cook for 2 minutes until light brown and bubbling.
3. Whisk in broth, cream, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook, stirring frequently, for 1-2 minutes, until it thickens slightly.
4. Return the meatballs back to the skillet with the sauce, then reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 8-10 minutes until the meatballs are cooked through.
5. Serve on a bed of buttered egg noodles! Enjoy!
