TENNESSEE PEACH PUDDING


If you've never heard of peach pudding in Tennessee, boy, you're in for a treat!

Chunky and juicy peach slices are baked into a soft, fluffy bun topped with a crunchy topping and filled with buttercream. My God!

* Ingredients :

+filling:
° 5 cups fresh or frozen peaches, peeled and diced
° 2 cups all-purpose flour
° 1 cup sugar
° 1 cup full fat milk
° 4 teaspoons baking powder
° 1 teaspoon sea salt
° 1 teaspoon cinnamon
° 1 teaspoon vanilla
° 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
+Topping:
° 3/4 cup brown sugar
° 3/4 cup sugar
° 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
° 3 cups of water
° 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
° Ice cream / Whipped cream / Cole Whip, optional, appetizer

*Preparation : 

Preheat oven to 400°F and grease a 9" by 13" baking dish with a little butter or nonstick spray.
In a large saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the brown sugar, sugar and nutmeg, then mix the butter and water and bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. 
Removing from fire & set apart .
In  bowl, beat flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, & nutmeg to mixed .
Whisking milk also vanilla extract to smooth, & adding prunes cubes.
Pour fill to greased baking dish, & pour on it.
Place in the oven and bake for 50-55 minutes, covered with aluminum foil, if necessary, until cooked through.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 15 minutes before serving.
