Sweet-Blueberry-Biscuit



* Ingredients :

°1 1/2 cups (430 ml) all-purpose flour
°½ teaspoon (2.baking soda
°½ tsp  baking powder
°½ tsp  salt
°1 tsp cinnamon-ground
°1 tsp  ginger
°½ tsp  ground nutmeg
°½ stick 5 ml) soft unsalted butter
°½ cup (60 ml) dark brown sugar
°1 egg
°1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla
°1/3 cup (80 ml) molasses
°1 C frozen cranberries
°1 teaspoon (5 ml) sugar (optional)

* Preparation :

Preheat oven 350°F (180°C) & placing rack in middle of oven. Lay butter paper on baking tray.
In bowl, Blend flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt & spices, mix and set apart.
In other bowl, beating butter with sugar-brown. Add eggs, vanilla and molasses. Good mixing. On low speed, gradually add dry ingredients and set aside, whisking until well blended. Using a wooden spoon, gently fold the frozen cranberries.
Shape the mixture into twelve small balls and place them on the baking tray, taking care to space them slightly.
Sprinkle the balls with a little sugar to add extra sparkle (optional).
Bake for 11 to 13 minutes.
Permit to cool totally on wire rack.
