*ingredients :

° 6 boneless chicken breasts of the same size
° 1 cup sharp shredded cheddar cheese
° 2 large eggs
° 1 cup all-purpose flour
° 1 cup ground corn kernels
° 1/2 cup rusk
° 1 tablespoon full fat milk
° 4 ounces unsalted butter, ½ cup divided
° 1 teaspoon garlic powder
° 1 teaspoon salt
° 1 teaspoon black pepper

* Instructions :

The first step:
Heat to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Melt only half of the butter in a microwave-safe dish. Pour into a large pot.
The second step:
Bowl 1: Stir together the salt, garlic powder, pepper, and flour.
Bowl 2: Adding also whisking milk also eggs together.
Third step:
Bowl 3: Add the breadcrumbs, cheese, and ground cereal.
The fourth step:
Pound the meat if necessary with a meat mallet to make each piece even with the next.
Dip each chicken piece in the flour first (Pot 1), then the egg and milk (Pot 2), then the pan of breadcrumbs (Pot 3).
Fifth step:
Place the covered chicken in the prepared casserole dish. Cut the remaining butter into strips so that each chicken piece has a piece of butter on top of it.
Bake the chicken for 30-35 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F
