French onion flavor chicken

* ingredients:

French onion:
            1 tsp un-salted butter
            2 size onions, sliced
            3 to 4 tsp lean beef broth, low-sodium, fat-free
Chicken & sauce:
            chicken breasts, boneless & skinless
            2.5 tsp olive oil
            1 c fat-free, low-sodium beef broth
            3 tsp  chop chives
            Salt also pepper to taste
            4 thin tranches provolone cheese


The first step:
Put the butter in a frying pan and let it melt.
Add the onions and let it simmer for 30 seconds
The second step:
Add meat broth
Reduce the heat and cook for 30 minutes, the onions should be caramelized
Third step:
Transfer the onions to a bowl and set aside
Put the chicken breasts in the skillet and sprinkle with salt and pepper
The fourth step:
Cooking for 5 to 7 min per side
Flip the chicken, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and leave for 5 to 7 minutes
Put the chicken in a plate
Fifth step:
Add the cooked and caramelized onions back to the skillet, along with 2 tablespoons of cornstarch and 1 cup of the beef broth.
Whisk to combine everything, the sauce will start to thicken within a minute while stirring constantly
Sixth step:
Put the chicken back in the pan and let it cook with the sauce for 3 minutes
Place a slice of cheese on each breast, cover the tray and let the cheese melt
Seventh step:
Remove from heat and garnish with black pepper or chopped chives.
