Mexican Lasagna Recipe with Beef




* ingredients :

° - 2 pounds ground beef (or preferred protein)
° - 1 16 oz can of kidney beans
° - 1 4 ounces chopped green chilies (add more if you like more spice)
° - 1 pack stored bought taco season
° - 2 tablespoons hot sauce of your choice (if you don't like spicy, use an extra 2 tablespoons of light sauce)
° - 1 12 ounce package of Flour (or Corn) Tortillas
° - 4 cups of shredded cheese of your choice
° - 1 jar of store-bought light sauce
° - 2 cups of water
° - 2 cups sour cream
° - 4 chopped green onions
°- Optional: 1 can sliced ​​olive, drain
°- Optional: 1 chopped tomato

* instructions :

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2. Heat a large frying pan over a medium heat. Add the beef and cook until the pink color fades.
3. Add the beans, chili, taco seasoning, and hot sauce to the skillet and stir until well combined.
4. Grease a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray. Begin layering the lasagna, first with the tortillas, then the meat mixture, then the cheese. Repeat the layers two more times.
5. In a separate bowl, mix the jar of light sauce with the water. Pour the mixture over the lasagna, cover and bake for 1 hour.
