Shrimp Linguine with Creamy Herb Sauce


° 6 tsp butter, divided
° 1 to 2 cups sliced ​​mushrooms
° 1 deveined shrimp, tailless shrimp
° 2 teaspoons minced garlic
° 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
° 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley
° 6 ounces soft cream cheese
° ½ cup heavy whipping cream
° Salt and pepper to taste

* instructions:

The first step:
Cook the linguine until tender in slightly salted boiling water
Drain the linguine when done
The second step:
Melt 2 tsp butter in  skillet
Add mushrooms and shrimp to the skillet
Third step:
Fry it until the shrimp is done and the mushrooms are soft
Add the remaining butter, garlic and cream cheese. Fry until the butter and cheese melt
The fourth step:
Beat heavy whipping cream and all remaining ingredients except shrimp and mushrooms.
Cook until well blended and thick
Fifth step:
Add the shrimp and mushrooms to the sauce and stir until well coated
Add the linguine to the skillet and stir until well combined
Garnished with chopped parsley
