The Taco Spaghetti

* ingredients :

° 8 ounce un-cooked spaghetti pasta
° 1 pound ground beef
° 1 tsp olive oil
° 1 can fire roasted rutile with green pepper
° 2 tablespoons tomato paste
° 1 packet taco seasoning mix
° 3 cups of water
° 1 cup Fiesta cheese or a taco mix of shredded cheese
° Chop green onions or parsley for garnish

* instructions :

The first step:
Heat the olive oil in a deep frying pan on the medium setting on the stove top
Add lean ground beef and cook well, draining any excess fat
The second step:
Place the tomato paste, packet of rutile, and dry taco seasoning in the skillet.
Stir until well mixed
Third step:
Add 3 cups of water
Cut the pasta in half and add it to the water.
The fourth step:
Stir well, bring to a quick boil, then reduce heat to simmer.
Cover and cook until the spaghetti is soft or the way you like it.
Fifth step:
Drain any excess liquid from the skillet.
Sprinkle all the cheese on top, then put the lid back on and let the cheese melt
Sixth step:
Garnish with green onions and chopped tomatoes, if desired
