Breakfast Casserole Sausage Tater


2 pounds hot  sausage
1 (30-32 oz) bag of frozen tarts
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1-1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
8 eggs
2 c milk
How to make a TATTATT TOT breakfast casserole:
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Heat it to 350 degrees F
Step 2: Use cooking spray to grease a 9" x 13" skillet.
Step 3: Cook the sausage in a large skillet until the pink color disappears. When finished, drain the excess fat.
Step 4: Put the tater sticks, cooked sausage, and cheese into a large bowl. Stir the mixture and transfer it to the prepared skillet.
Step 5: In a different bowl, whisk the eggs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and milk. Pour this mixture over the mixture.
Step 6: If you are going to bake later, cover the dish and store in the refrigerator.
Step 7: If serving now, bake in a preheated oven for 60 to 70 minutes, uncovered or until the eggs are set.
Make this ahead of time and refrigerate or freeze until ready to serve.
Add several minutes to the cooking time when baking after cooling.
When frozen, defrost completely and bake according to instructions.
Same when reheating, thaw completely and cover with aluminum foil. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit or until completely heated through.m
