Parmesan meatloaf 中


°1 pound ground pork
°1 pound ground beef
°2 large eggs
°1/4 cup breadcrumbs
°1/2 teaspoon dried basil
°1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
 °1 to 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
°1 small yellow onion (grated)
°1/2 teaspoon of salt
°1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
°1/2 cup grated parmesan
°1/2 c pasta sauce 
°1/2 cup grated cheese (Italian cheese blend)
Step 1
Preheat oven 350 degrees. Lightly grease a loaf pan (I use a glass loaf pan) with cooking spray, set aside.
2nd step
In a large bowl, combine ground pork and beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, thyme, oregano, basil, garlic, onion, salt, pepper and Parmesan. Try not to handle the mixture too much, otherwise it will become hard.
Step 3
Place the mixture in the greased loaf pan and form a loaf. Top meatloaf with pasta sauce.
Step 4
Place the filled cake tin on a baking sheet and bake for 1 hour.
Step 5
Remove the meatloaf from the oven and drain any fat from the meats at this time.
Step 6
Sprinkle the top with the remaining grated cheese.
Step 7
Return the meatloaf to the oven and bake until the cheese is melted.
Step 8
Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
