Taco Bread with Crescent Rolls

°1½ cups shredded Mexican or cheddar cheese
°1 pound ground pork or beef
°1 packet taco seasoning
°1 large tomato chopped
°Handful of shredded iceberg lettuce
°2 Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
°Chopped green onions and sour cream, for serving
°Non-stick cooking spray as need

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Add minced pork or beef to a large skillet over moderate heat.
Cook the meat, stirring frequently with a wooden spoon, until browned.
It sucks out any excess fat.
Now mix in the taco seasoning.
Roll out the dough from the tubes and place in the base of a lightly greased 9-inch baking dish or pie plate. You may not need to use all of the dough.
Now add the cooked pork or beef mixture over the dough in the baking dish.
Sprinkle with cheese and cook in the oven for 20 minutes or until the dough is golden and cooked through.
Let the taco bake cool for 10 minutes.
Add tomatoes and lettuce on top and garnish with green onions and sour cream if you like.
Enjoy !
